• I missed yesterday’s weeknote because I was sick. I slept most of the day.

  • Last week has been hectic. We took the puppy to the vet. His condition has improved a little but his stool is still soft. He recently also started not wanting to eat his usual raw food. We aren’t sure whether or not it’s because he’s sick or because he doesn’t like how the raw food brand we’re giving him tastes anymore. We were told by a fellow dog parent that the raw food brand quality has decreased and that their pet also started not eating raw food from that brand. Sesame is otherwise the same old teenager puppy trying to test our limits.

  • I binge watched Designated Survivor, a Netflix original about a man who was designated survivor for a night and became the president of the US. It’s a really addicting TV show because the plot unfolds very quickly as new plot is introduced. The TV show is very different from your usual ho-hum drama, where you’re waiting for people to communicate with each other for an entire episode only to find resolution 2 episodes after. Because the plot unfolds so quickly in this TV show (most times in the same episode), I feel like the brain’s reward system is constantly activated – I feel full of dopamine after every single episode. Give me more of this content, I say! Something I find hilarious is that they created fictional countries. For example, they refer to what is North Korea and South Korea as East Hun Chiu and West Hun Chiu.

  • I finally filed my taxes after dreading it for weeks.

  • I’m making good progress on Breath of the Wild. I’ve defeated Fireblight Ganon, giving me a shield move called Daruk’s Protection. I think Fireblight Ganon was one of the easier Ganon spawns – I only failed once before defeating it. At this point, I have most of the areas unlocked except Hyrule Castle. I guess I am towards the “end game”? I feel a little sad about that though. I still have one more divine beast to siege and the Master Sword to wield.

  • Jae has reached Master tier in Apex Legends in the newest season. This is week 2 of me persuading him to stream his games as I’d love to be a social media manager as a side hustle. (I’d have loved a social media manager when I was a streamer.)

  • I made an Asana board to recreate my personal site and blog. So far I’ve just been filling in to-dos and blog post ideas. Nothing came out of it yet, but at least I have a list.

  • The days are much warmer now, we even took Sesame on a run to the park. I lowered my expectations for him to walk on leash properly so he did amazingly well. We can’t walk without him pulling on the leash so I end up running along with him. I guess I can say Sesame took us on a run to the park.

  • My daily steps are consistently at 8,000 excluding yesterday. I should make my goal 8,000 but I’ll keep it at 7,000 for now in case I stress myself out. I’m starting to enjoy jogging again! My resting heart rate is at a really good place considering I’m at my heaviest in my entire life – it goes to show that your weight is just a number!
